Producers are green plants,
algae, or microorganisms
that are capable of making

This project aims to reach

Through this, we can guide

B. Read the following paragraphs and answer the questions that follow. Write the letter of your answer on the space provided for before each number.
We cook our food for three reasons - to make food palatable and appetizing, to soften hard and tough
foods, and to kill any microbe that may happen to be in the food.
There are many ways of preparing food. Food can be fried, boiled, broiled, roasted, baked, steamed,
stewed, or sautéed. They can be well-cooked, or half cooked.
It is easier to digest food that is well cooked. But there are foods that are easier to digest when half
cooked that well-cooked. Meat and liver for example, are easier to digest when half cooked. But certainly,
they taste better when well-cooked.
Many vegetables are also easier to digest when well-cooked, but some are eaten raw.

c. Investigation

According to Aristotle, friendship can be classified into three types: friendships of utility, of
pleasure, and of the good.
Friendships of utility are those where people are on friendly terms mainly due to the benefits each
brings to the table. Business partners, colleagues, and schoolmates are examples. Friendships of pleasure are
those where people find each other because of the enjoyment it brings. People hanging out due to fitting
hobbies, common interest, and fishing buddies are examples. Friendships of the good, are most important as
among the three types of friendship. These are friendships based upon respect, appreciation for each other’s
qualities, and a strong will to aid and assist the other person because one recognizes their greatness.
