THE USE OF DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS

(Penggunaan kata ganti penunjuk)

DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS (kata ganti penunjuk) are words that are used
(kata-kata yang di gunakan) to poin out something (untuk menunjuk sesuatu),for exsample:

1. T his (ini) is used to pint out di gunakan untuk menunjuk) the singular noun that is near
to us (kata benda tunggal yang dekat dengan kita),for example:
 This is (ini) a new hand phone (HP baru)
 This is (ini) a nice bag (tas bagus)
 This album (album ini) is good (bagus)
2. These (ini) is used to pint out (di gunakan untuk menunjuk) the plural noun that is near
to us (kata benda jamak yang dekat dengan kita) for exsample:
 These are (ini) new hand phone (HP-HP baru)
 These are (ini) nice bags (tas-tas bagus)
 These albums (album-album ini) are good (bagus)
3. That (itu) is used to pint out (digunakan untuk menunjuk) the singular noun that is far to
us (kata benda tunggal yang jauh dari kita) for exsample:
 That is (itu) an old friend (teman lama)
 That is (itu) my answer (jawabanku)
 That problem (masalah itu)is very serious (sangat serius)
4. Those (itu) is used to pind out (digunakan untuk menunjuk) the plural noun that is far to
us (kata benda jamak yang jauh dari kita) for exsample:
 Those are (itu) my answers (jawaban-jawabanku)
 Those problems (masalah-masalah itu) are very serious (sangat serius)
 Those albums (album-album ini) are good (bagus)
 Those are (itu) old friend (teman-teman lama)

How To Introduce Someone-1 (bagaimana memperkenalkan seseorang)

I’d (=I would) like introduce (saya ingin memperkenalkan) our guests today (tamu
kita hari ini). this is (ini) Ms.Andra brown from sheffield,united kingdom (UK) and
this is Mr.gary from detroit,united states of america (USA).

Miyako: Takashi,this is hastuti.she’s from bandung, indonesia.she is indonestan

(orang indonesia).

Takashi: How do you do ?

Hastuti: How do you do ?

Ladis and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce (saya ingin memperkenalkan) nice to meet you.

Hi

Nice to meet you (senang berkenalan/ ketemu anda).

you : Tom, this is (ini) savitri. she’s from denpasar,bali

savitri : Hi. Nice to meet you.

Tom : Nice to meet you.

you : Sam, this is my friend (temanku), tuty

she is a nurse (seorang perawat) in bethesda hospital (di rumah sakit bethesda)

Sam : Nice to meet you.

Tuty : Nice to meet you, too (juga).
