ACADEMIC HONESTY HONOR CODE

I understand that in submitting any written output required in this course,
• I am practicing my duty and responsibility to “uphold the academic integrity of the school,
endeavor to achieve academic excellence and abide by the rules and regulations governing (my)
academic responsibilities and moral integrity” (Philippine Education Act of 1982);
• I recognize that academic dishonesty runs counter to the culture of excellence, which occupies
the core of the CTE community; and
• I recognize that a student who has committed dishonesty, such as plagiarism, may be placed on
probation, suspended or expelled, depending on the gravity of the offense (MMSU Operations
Manual 2017 – Student Conduct and Discipline).

• I am turning in work that is mine;
• I did not use the words and ideas of another person without giving due credit to him or her in a
footnote or through citations; and
