INTRODUCTION

AI Voice is a synthetic voice that is utilized in several kinds of applications, including

virtual assistants, customer chatbot assistants, voice activation devices (e.g., Alexa), and GPS
navigation systems. You may utilize AI to mimic any style of speech, allowing users to add and
enhance their content, making it more appealing to the audience. The TikTok application is one
example of where AI voices are widely utilized these days. This trend became popular because of
how AI voices can mimic any voices of an individual and commonly, people use K-POP idol or
popular artist voices to sing a chosen song. However, these AI Voice can not only entertain people
on social media, most businessmen use this as a tool for their business, when they make
appointments or perform research. Businesses may save time and run much more smoothly by
employing voice commands to conduct administrative activities. When it comes to using speech
AI, the options are virtually limitless. The potential are even more promising as voice AI
technology advances and becomes more sophisticated. Despite how these AI Voice can help
people to save time and effort, it still has other bad effects on our society.

NATURE OF THE PROBLEM

The goal of this study is to investigate and raise awareness about the risks of artificial
voice generators in order to develop strategies and safeguards to utilize their negative outcomes.

Definition of the problem:

AI voice generators are computer programs that can generate human-like voices by
converting written text to audio. AI voice generators were invented to help humans have neutral
narrators that can be used in virtual assistants, customer service chatbots, GPS navigation systems,
and voice-activated devices. However, it is possible for them to be maliciously misused.

Harmful misuse of AI Voice Generators shows in the following:

1. Misinformation
- there are instances where inaccurate information was generated. Their responses are based
on patterns and existing data. So when complex or controversial topics are asked, there is
a possibility that they may provide incorrect and misleading information.

2. Bias
- most AI technologies are made for large datasets, and if these datasets contain biased or
discriminatory information, the AI voice generator may inadvertently produce biased
outputs. This can perpetuate societal biases and reinforce harmful stereotypes.
3. Emotional manipulation:
- They have the ability to impersonate human emotions, this can lead to manipulation and
exploitation of valuable individuals. This concerns scenarios that can be seen in scams,
manipulation and psychological harm.

4. Privacy and security:

- Realistic human voice impersonations that are created by an AI can have the potential to
be utilized for identity theft or other illegal activities, therefore compromising individuals'
privacy.

5. Unemployment:
- Humans are at risk of losing their jobs or having them replaced as AI technology develops.
There is a chance that jobs in some industries will disappear as AI gets increasingly adept
at carrying out tasks that were formerly done by humans.

SCOPE AND MAGNITUDE

The main purpose is to determine and lessen the threats and effects of artificial
intelligence voice generators to society. The primary subject of this study were consist of people
from the NCR in the Philippines limited to 200 participants.

RATIONALE FOR ACTION PLAN

These issues show the necessity for ongoing study, responsible innovation, and
legislative frameworks to control and lessen the harmful effects of AI voice generators. We have
the ability to benefit from the advantages of this technology while ensuring its ethical and
responsible use by addressing these concerns.
