I. Objectives:

After the lesson, students will be able to:

- Make a bedroom poster
- Play game with bedroom poster
- Procedure: (90 min)

Warm up Greeting
Check attendance
Set the rules in the class
Play Simon says
Vocabulary Lead in
- Tell the Ss they are going to some useful language for finding
things
- Ask Ss if they know how to those words
Presentation
- Let ss look at the pictures
- Ask Ss to say where the people are
- Ask who are they
- Play the recording for Ss to listen and follow
- Ss practice the dialogue in groups of 3
- Call some groups to act out the story.
Practice
Guided activities:
- Activity 1: Flip up the cup

+ Divide class into 2 teams.


+ Put the up side down cups in line
+ In turns, each member of each team will run fast and flip up the
cups, then take the new words on the dialogue which are put on
top of the line , run and sit on the chair.
+ Ss who faster and sit on the chair read aloud the words
+ The team get more points wil’ be the winner.
Activity 2
- Ss listen again and fill the missing words in speech bubbles

Listening Pre-teach
- Personal experience:
+ Ask related questions.

Teach
- Play the video and let Ss check their prediction.
- Play the record and ask Ss to point to the different speech bubbles
as they hear the words.
- Let Ss listen to the story again and underline new words.
- Explain new words.
- Let Ss listen again and repeat sentence by sentence.
- Ask Ss to read the whole story in silent.
Act out the story
- Divide Ss in to groups of four and assign role for each one.
- Give them some time to practice in groups.
- Invite groups to act out the story.
Post-teach
Further activity: find the mistakes. Ss work in pairs. Let Ss close
their book. Give Ss new version of the story with some wrong
information and ask them to find out.

- Ask Ss to close their books and ask them “ Who are these” / What
they can/ can’t find”
- Ss try to make a guess “Where is the book?”
Presentation
- Focus on the Let’s learn! box. Ask What can you see?
- Read the questions and answers, pausing after each one for Ss to
point to the picture and repeat.
- Write the questions and answers on the board. Read them again,
miming the actions in the pictures to reinforce meaning. Ss repeat
again.
Practice
Controlled activities:
- Rub out the places in each sentence and replace with flashcards to
elicit sentences with the same pattern,
- Say the new sentences for children to repeat.
- Ask - children to change the words to make new sentences
- Ss make a bedroom poster
Wrap-up - Ask Ss what they have been through today.
- Assign homework.
- Say goodbye.
