Dear Subtle Le Nguyen’s Team,
My name is Nguyen Phuong Trang and I am writing this cover letter to express my interest in applying
for a Research Intern, Project Management Intern or any open editorial positions at Subtle Le Nguyen that
require an assistant. Even though my past experiences did not display that I am an ideal candidate for a
role in a rising fashion brand, I believe that my passion, will to learn and grow in fashion, and my ability
to research, and adapt rapidly can assist me in getting my first internship opportunity in my life-long
dream industry.
To briefly introduce myself, I am a second-year student at British University Vietnam who has been
nurturing my love and desire for fashion ever since my first interaction within the industry, from
interacting with local fashion research institutions to daily consumption of fashion magazines like i-D,
1GRANARY, Dazed and 032c. Furthermore, after the success of Gia Studios, Subtle Le Nguyen, Fancí or
Elena Nguyen, I acknowledge that being able to immerse and surround myself with a creative working
environment in fashion can be a great launchpad to my future. These underlying interests and
acknowledgements have formed a new identity in me and urged me to pursue a career in the fashion
industry.
Nevertheless, I understand that Subtle Le Nguyen is not on the search for any new assistants or interns.
However, regarding my interest in the brand, I still decided to send you this cover letter, as an expression
of my desire to work for Subtle Le Nguyen. As a matter of fact, I can work as a non-salary intern in any
position possible, as long as I can interact and contribute to Subtle Le Nguyen’s future endeavors.
I strongly believe that if given this opportunity, I will be ready to hit the ground running and help Subtle
Le Nguyen achieve its own expectations for success, as well as gain extended skillsets and experiences to
further pursue this career path. As a matter of fact, I would welcome any opportunities to discuss with the
brand about my qualifications and visions.
