“A society is defined not only by what it

creates but by what it refuses to
destroy”
What happens to vehicle tyres once they have outlived their purpose?
Often the scrap tyres suffer thermochemical treatment under high temperatures in a process called pyrolysis which emits
polluting gases due to which it is not prevalent in certain countries. Like many countries in the world, India is also struggling with
the issue of disposing of millions of tyres.

The project aims at minimising environmental degradation by using scrap rubber tyres since it’s disposal
using the current methods available, has been identified as a major threat to the environment.Through
this model, we aim to provide employment opportunities to cobblers, unemployed women from low
income households, daily wage carpenters and local plant vendors having low income. Thus, we aim to
provide their skills a wider market base.
