Course purpose: To equip the learner with concepts, knowledge and competencies to enable
him/her understand an organization, its ever changing internal and external environment and
how individual and group behavior affects its pursuit of goals.

Expected Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the learner will be able to:

 Explain how individual behavioural factors affect organizational performance

 Explain how group behavioural factors influence organizational performance

 Describe mechanisms that managers can use to ensure that individuals and groups in
organizations improve organizational performance.
