Research Topic/Title: THE IMPACT OF PROPER DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE BY

STUDENTS IN ASIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

Description of the Project

1. Rationale

According to Mrema (2008), that recycling over many years has become of great
importance to our society, and especially to our environment. It has become an
important means of reducing the increasing amounts of waste management. Adults,
youth and even children can all play a part in contributing to create a healthier and
clean environment. Therefore, the reason why we conduct this study is to investigate
the implications of poor disposal management in Asian Institute of Technology.

2. Objectives of the Study

2.1. General

• Determine how to dispose properly the paper products, plastics, cans, bottles, glass,
and etc.

2.2. Specific

A. What is the effect of proper waste disposal in our school

B. How have you learned the proper waste disposal?
C. Do you practice proper waste segregation?

3. Theoretical/ Conceptual Framework

This study denotes the understanding of the researcher in the ideas of the different
researcher. This study by ( Eva Pongrácz, a 2004 ) The theory of waste
management, as the differentiated from waste management practice, represents a
more in-depth account of the domain and contains conceptual analyses of waste,
the activity upon waste, and a holistic view of the functions and goals of waste
management. Without this reason the waste management will not be properly
manage and controlled. Discipline is practice of proper waste management, without
discipline people cannot manage things successfully and properly.
Proper waste disposal of garbage is very important in our community specially to
our school. Because by the proper disposal of garbage it can make our school
more clean.

This study address the students of Asian Institute of Technology and their way how
