We welcome you to the 1st Term of the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

As always, we give thanks to the Almighty God who has blessed us with the gift
of good health, peace of heart and mind and all that we require to live life to the
fullest. We also bless His matchless name for our little Arabella Stones; our very
precious treasures.

We kindly ask that you take note of the following:

CHANGE IN ACADEMIC CALENDER AND TERM STRUCTURE.

Following GES’ change in the Academic calendar earlier

communicated in our second quarter newsletter, and further deliberations with

parents, management has decided to adjust our term structure from a quarterly
system to a trimester system. The following will consequently be our dates for
the academic year 2023/2024:

TERM 1: 3rd October to 22nd December 2023

TERM 2: 9th January to 22nd March 2024

TERM 3: 2nd April to 28th June 2024

The quarterly system may be re-introduced to run concurrently with the trimester
system sometime in the future when the need arises.
INTRODUCTION OF SUMMER SCHOOL AND DROP OFF SERVICES

We will organise summer school during the long summer break tentatively from
the 8th of July to the 23rd of August 2024.

Drop off services will also be organized during the shorter vacations to give
parents who would like their wards to be engaged at school the opportunity to do
so.

Further details on these will be communicated in due course.

SATURDAY FUN AND GROOMING

We are very excited to let you know that latest by December 2023, we will be
opened for drop offs on Saturdays.We will engage our little treasures in various
age specific fun activities and also provide assistance with homework.

There will also be professionals for braiding, barbering ,pedicure ,manicure

excetera.

Please bring all the children in the house for fun

RENTAL OF PREMISES FOR EVENTS

Effective November 2023, our premises will be available for rentals for kids
parties and other events. Kindly contact us on 0549480031 to make your
reservations.

DISCOUNTS ON FEES

We are pleased to inform our esteemed parents that every introduction by a parent
that results in an enrollment will earn the parent 5% off the total fees paid.

Also parents who have more than a child enrolled will earn 10% on each child’s
fees.
FEEDBACK FROM SPEECH THERAPIST

We would like to encourage parents to kindly read the feedback from our speech
therapist on their ward’s assessment and kindly take the prescribed actions. We
encourage parents to talk to us should there be the need for us to provide room
for therapy. Early intervention is key for the resolution of any challenges.

School Hours

School is opened for early arrivals at 6:30am.

Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 8:15am.

The school day begins at 8:30am and ends at 2:30pm.

Regular pickup is between 3:00pm and 6:00pm.

Late pickup from 6:00pm is at a fee of GHS 20.00 per hour.

A daily plan has been attached for your perusal.

Reporting Time

We wish to remind Parents that class activities begin at 8:30am and we encourage
that children are brought in latest by the said time.

Health

Children with colds, coughs and runny nose must please stay at home so as not to
pose a risk to other children.

We encourage parents to please refer to the parents’ handbook for additional

information on the school’s policy on health.

Parents - Management Interaction Day (2023)

This is an opportunity for school management to have a one-on-one meeting with
parents to explain the term’s scheme of work and how we can partner each other
to nurture our unique learners.

Kindly call the Head Teacher, Ms. Matilda Nettey, on the school’s contact
numbers (0549480031) to schedule a slot between the hours of 8:00am and
6:00pm daily. Each family is given 20 minutes.
