1. Bagaimana Anda membedakan antara teks laporan dan teks deskriptif?


2. Apa yang Anda ketahui tentang narasi dan fungsinya?
3. Jelaskan secara singkat tentang simple present tense dan fungsinya?
4. "Kata benda" dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian. Sebutkan dan jelaskan dengan jelas!
5. Dari sudut pandang mana antara teks Eksposisi Analitis dan teks Eksposisi Hortatori
memiliki perbedaan? Jelaskan jawaban Anda.

JAWABAN
1. From the definition, we can know that the report text contains a description of the object
through the process of observation. While the description text contains a description of
the object based on what the writer captures when seeing or feeling it.
2. Narrative text is a type of text that tells a story or describes a sequence of events. It serves
to entertain or inform readers by presenting a series of events in a coherent and
interesting manner.
3. Simple present tense is a type of tense in English to express events that are ongoing. and
serves to express facts, habits, truths, and situations that are permanent.

4. In English grammar, nouns are divided into two types, namely:


1. Concrete Noun (Embodied Noun)
Concrete nouns are nouns that can be seen, tangible nouns that can be touched.

For example: Teddy, Henny (person's name), Yogyakarta, Solo (city name), Man (man),
Pencil, Audience, Silver, Iron, and others.
2. Abstract Noun
Abstract nouns are nouns that are intangible, cannot be seen, and cannot be touched, but
can only be imagined.

For example: association, application, confidence (trust), kindness, friendship, and others.
Abstract nouns can be formed from verbs (verb), adjectives (adjective), and even the
noun itself (noun).
5. The difference between analytical and hortatory exposition texts is in the purpose of the
writing and the final part of the text structure.
