Reflection in
" Kongreso Ng Gurong Mag - Aaral "

This congress reminds me of our culture as from what was shared and discussed by the
first speaker which is Mr. Ferdinand M. Lopez, in the topic culture-based Education. It is
for the enhancement of our respective spheres of our cultural education. There are some
of us forget our culture and study other countries language and their culture. Through this
forum we keep reminding of that we must embrace and be proud of our own country. In
the next part, I learned about "Agham" and it's characteristics. It is the best way so that
learners can understand the lesson easily.
Through this Congress, I also learned the Principles that can be achieved through
Building upon the diverse systems of knowledge and experiences of the learners.
Incorporate their histories, knowledge and technologies, value systems and further social,
economic and cultural aspirations and etc. And also in Principle 2, it can be achieved
through the provision of equal access to all forms of education for all cultural groups of
the population, the elimination system, the provision of educational qualification to
ensure equal access to secondary and post secondary education and vocational training
and etc.
In the last part that I will never forget is the Philippine Professional Standards for
teachers which is also discussed when I was in 3rd year.
