PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES Program Goal

Beginning SY 2024-2025, learners at risk are benefitting from appropriate

equity initiatives such as Alternative Delivery Mode One-Stop-Shop Schools

( MISOSA, IMPACT, Open High School System, Night School, Rural Farm

School, School Initiated Intervention, Internet-based Distance Education

Program) and are able to finish appropriate key stage.

End of Program's Outcomes


By 2025, at least 80% of learners at risk benefitted from appropriate equity initiatives such

as ADM, attained key stage standards, and have finished the appropriate key stage. By 2030,

90% of learners at risk benefitted from appropriate equity initiatives such as ADM, attained

key stage standards, and have finished appropriate key stage.

BENEFICIARIES AND COVERAGE Beneficiaries

Kindergarten to SHS learners enrolled in the formal system but are at risk of dropping out

of school.

BASIC QUESTION AND ANSWER WHO ARE ITS TARGET LEARNERS?

It is intended for learners from Kindergarten to Grade 12 who are officially enrolled in a

formal school:

1. at risk of failure or dropping out

2. learners with educational needs

3. marginalized learners

4. last mile learners (learners whose residence is far from the school)

5. learners who cannot stay regularly inside the school because of family problems/situ-

ations; household errands and obligations

6. children of parents whose jobs required them to travel

7. learners with poor medical conditions

8. under difficult circumstances such as pregnant learners

9. learners who are working in daytime

10. learners whose studies are interrupted due to the relocation of parents (within or out-

side the country)

11. in emergencies

12. late enrollees

13. children of parents who by choice wish to educate their children at home

14. children of OFWs living abroad

15. involved in the curricular and co-curricular activities

WHO CAN OFFER ADM?

16. All public elementary and secondary schools

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT ADM MODALITIES?

ADM Description

1. Home School Provides basic education to learners in a home-based

setting with parents, guardians or tutors as teachers

3. Modified In- This modality is intended for Grade 4 to 6 independent

who need to be away from school for valid reasons.

He/she shall bring home the modules and work on it.

He/she shall report after finishing the assigned task. An

Individual Learning Contract shall be executed by the

teachers, learners, and parents to set expectations from

both parties.

4. Night High Learners attend classes at night. This modality allows

School learners who are working and of legal age to finish

secondary education in 4 to 5 years for JHS and 2 and 2

½ years for SHS. Classes start no later than 4:30 in the

afternoon and end no later than 9:30 in the evening.

5. Open High Provides the opportunity to all high school learners

School Program (OHSP) capable of independent learning to complete basic

education through quality distance education.

For the first semester of the school year, the learner shall

be expected to report to the teacher/adviser and subject

area teachers on a weekly basis to establish the learner’s

readiness for independent study. This can be

subsequently reduced to a monthly consultation during

the second half of the school year if the learner has

demonstrated a capacity for self-directed learning.

Whenever possible, all learning resources other than

modules and textbooks shall be made available to the

learner.

6. Rural Farm It provides for facilitative and experiential learning on the

Schools core subjects of the secondary education curriculum with

a focus on agri-fisheries

- Self-Learning Modules issued by the Central Office

- ADM modules in the LR portal tagged to the K to 12 curriculum

- Learner’s Materials/Textbook issued by the Department (in cases where ADM modules

are not available)

HOW IS LEARNING ASSESSED?

- ADM learners shall be assessed following DepEd assessment policy for K to 12.

- Learners shall report to his/her teacher in an agreed time for enhancement and assess-

ment of learning.
