COURSE DESCRIPTION
Consecutive Interpreting is designed to introduce the students to types, modes and principles of interpreting. During the
course, students are given practice to interpret English utterances to Indonesian and vice versa. On completing this
course, students will be able to consecutively interpret a spoken / recorded communication in English into Indonesian
successfully, and vice versa. Students are asked to make a business model Canvas for offering their interpreting service
to NGOs in small groups.
INDICATORS:
1. Students are able to identify the types, modes and principles of interpreting.
2. Students are able to interpret English utterances to Indonesian and vice versa consecutively.
