Workshop on “Personality Development

Centre for Skill Development (CSD), Shyam Lal College, organized its first offline
workshop after the reopening of college following the covid pandemic lockdown,
on the topic- ‘Personality Development and Grooming Session’ in collaboration
with Dainik Jagran and Gillette Guard. This 1 hour event took place on 27 th
September,2022 from 11:30 am onwards, with the theme-‘Kar Lo Safalta Mutthi
Mein’.

The session started with a brief speech by Dr. Kavita Arora, Convenor CSD
wherein she welcomed the speaker of the event, Mr. Sunil Joshi and also
highlighted the importance of personality development. Mr. Joshi then started
the seminar with an interaction with the audience asking them questions related
to their career paths. He then helped the students with the choice of career by
telling them the essential factors they need to consider to make the right career
choice. The speaker then explained the significance of Appearance, Body
language and Communication in having an edge over others in an interview. Some
insights were shared regarding ways for grooming of personality. More than 150
students were a part of this interactive session wherein they were free to put up
their queries and suggestions. The seminar ended with a vote of thanks to
everybody who helped making this seminar a success.

Altogether, the seminar provided the students with the right guidance and
enlightenment for excelling in life. Towards the end of the seminar, e-certificates
through QR code scan, were provided to all the participants of the seminar along
with refreshments and free Gillette guard razors.
