Report on the Launch of JACTILE in JAC

The Grand Launching of JACTILE (JAC Technology Integrated Learning

Environment) was held on 08-09-2023 at 9.15 a.m. in the open auditorium at Jayaraj
Annapackiam College for Women (Autonomous), Periyakulam. The event was graced by the
presence of the Chief Guest Dr. A. Clara Dhenmozhi, Associate Professor of Physics and
CEO of Mother Teresa Women's University), Kodaikanal. Rev. Sr. Dr. S. Jesurani, Principal
of the college, highlighted the importance and benefits of JACTILE for the students and
faculty of JAC. She expressed her hope and optimism for the future of online learning and
technology assisted learning. Rev. Sr. Dr. B. J. Queensly Jeyanthi Secretary & Mother
Superior of the college, felicitated and appreciated the efforts and achievements of the
JACTILE team and wished them success in their future endeavours. She encouraged the
students to explore the potential of technology and themselves by enrolling in the JACTILE
courses and projects. Through Google Meet, the Keynote address was given by Dr. A. Vimal
Jerald, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at St. Joseph's College, Trichy, a captivating
and enlightening speech that covered various aspects of online learning and technology. He
explained how these technologies can enhance the teaching and learning process by providing
adaptive and interactive content, intelligent tutoring systems, data-driven insights, and natural
language interfaces.

Dr. J. Josephine, Assistant Professor of English welcomed the gathering and

introduced the chief guest. Dr. Shantha Mary Joshita, Head & Associate Professor of
Computer Science, proposed the vote of thanks and thanked all the dignitaries and students
for making the event a grand success.

JACTILE is an innovative online learning platform that aims to provide quality

education and skill development to the students of JAC. It offers various courses, modules,
quizzes, assignments, projects, and interactive sessions in all disciplines. It also facilitates
collaboration, communication, feedback, and evaluation among the students and faculties.
