Lesson Plan in Science 8

Week No. 1 Checked by:

Prepared by: JEDDAH LYNN ABELLON

I. Standards of Learning:

Content Standard:
The learners demonstrate an understanding of:
1. Newton’s Three Laws of Motion

Learning Competencies:
At the end of the lesson, the learners shall be able to:
1. Investigate the relationship between the amount of force applied and the mass of the object to the amount of
change in the object’s motion; and
2. Infer that when a body exerts a force on another, an equal amount of force is exerted back on it.

Integrated Institutional Core Values and its New Institutional Student Outcome:
Academic Excellence:
Students demonstrate skills and competencies required in their work through production of creative outputs.

II. Subject Matter: Laws of Motion

Now, here are the learning objectives for today’s lesson. At the end of this lesson, you will be able to
investigate the relationship between the amount of force applied and the mass of the object to the amount of
change in the object’s motion, and infer that when a body exerts a force on another, an equal amount of force is
exerted back on it.
