“My Childhood Friend Luna”

Every time I stare at the moon, the only thing that comes to mind is "LUNA..."

luna is my childhood friend in our neighborhood, and we've been together since
elementary school,, no matter how silly oh respectfully you can't forget.

His father worked as a cop, and when I was a kid, he always mocked me, no matter
what game I was playing, when I was circumcised, or even when I fought. she
always says, "Alwin stand there, man, don't cry" the line that luna always tells me.
but this changed when Luna's family went to Manila, as I saw them leave that was
my last glance in his eyes.

I'm now at college, and we've been a few years since we also left our old house.

while outside I heard a woman's voice, and when I looked at the source of the voice
I saw a beautiful woman in an orange long dress.

The beauty ... I could only say in my mind as I watched him in amazement. she looks

smile.

'wait what! how did she know what I said in my mind? "Ah Welcome hehe ... but can
I know who you? Where are you from? Wait before you're here? I asked.

"I'm Luna! I'm just there in the other house" he replied

I was surprised because he looks weird now and he's really different “this is for
real my childhod friend.

"Sandali lang!" I said afterward but his mother called him and disappeared from my
eyes. the rude then. I'm still talking, I was left immediately!

Many days passed, and she still didn't recognize me; I'd been with him for a long
time, and in my heart, I felt strange to Luna, as if I was falling love him. We were
together for many more moments until the last moonrise, when she said with his
lips that she also likes me, a sweet smile on his lips "we may be destined for this
time, you glanced at sky under the clouds, I am hidden and can peek but just
remember that when the sol comes I can get lost under the clouds," Luna said to
me.

those times I felt something strange in what she said that really stuck in my mind,
as the sun was shining she was slowly disappearing from my eyes.

Alwin !! Son ... "I was stunned by what I heard. I opened my eyes and mama's sad
face was exposed in front of me.
"mama ..." I said annoyed and sleepily because he interrupted my dream.

"You can still remember your Childhood friend Luna" said mama

"yes but why is he there? as i said

"I'm sorry, my son... you forgot that Luna is dead because of her disease, and
today is her 20th day!"

I sat on my bed and was stunned for a moment, thinking about what had happened.

"Dream ..." I whispered softly as I was stunned by the absence, it was just a dream
!! "

I remember since he was a child he had a serious illness that she felt, they moved
to Manila to receive medical treatment. but I found out that there was no cure for
that luna diseases, after we talked that night she was rushed to the hospital
because the pain in her body was really bad .. a few weeks passed and she gradually
weakened, until one day she lost his life.

I will never forget the words she said to me that night. "remember who I am and
how you truly feel at the right time.... for now, you must prepare yourself first
because the sun will rise and the luna will disappear, However, you may still see me
at night, but only in the faraway stars.”
