MY INSPIRATION AND ROLE MODEL
SUNDAR PICHAI
Now we all talk about the great technical person Sundar Pichai CEO of Google
company. He is really one of the most inspiring person to me......
Sundar Pichai was born on July 12th 1972 Madurai, Tamil Nadu....
Pichai grew up in a middle-class home and was a bright student. He excelled
academically at his school, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan...
He initially planned to pursue a Ph.D. from Stanford and embark on an academic
career. However, he dropped out and joined Applied Materials-a Silicon Valley
semiconductor maker-as an engineer and product manager. He did not work there
for long.
He went on to complete his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania (2002)
He also worked on other Google products like Google Gears and Google Pack. The
success of Google's toolbar gave Pichal the idea that Google should develop its
own browser
Pichai became an internationally known figure following the phenomenal success
of the Chrome which eventually became the No. 1 browser in the world,
surpassing competitors such as Internet Explorer and Firefox.
The Chrome also paved the way for a series of other important products like
Chrome OS, Chromebooks, and Chromecast.
In 2008, Pichai was promoted to Vice President of product development.
In this position he started appearing more often at Google presentations and
continued rising up the ranks in Google. By 2012, he had become the Senior Vice
President of Chrome and apps.
An engineering genius known for his innovative ideas, Sundar Pichai is best known
as the mastermind behind the launch of the Chrome browser in 2008.
He played a pivotal role in convincing his seniors at Google to launch the browser
which in time became the most popular browser on the internet and also led to
the launch of the Chrome operating system.
This created a power of knowledge and a sense of understanding of how a normal
person can change the world if he believes in one self and works hard patiently
without leaving hope but with full focus and determination
He is married to Anjall Pichai, and is the father of two children.
Sundar Pichai is a huge cricket fan and was the captain of his school cricket team.
Most interesting fact about Sundar Pichai is his family did not possess a phone
until he was 12. He once tried to talk a friend out of working at Google before
joining the company himself.
Sundar Pichai joined Google even before the company went public. He is very good
at remembering numbers and could remember every telephone number he dialed
when he was young.
He interacts with students at IIT-Kharagpur over Skype at regular intervals. He was
also one of the top contenders for the post of CEO at Microsoft, which ultimately
went to Satya Nadella.
The Google CEO is not at all "nerdy" as his appearance might suggest! He is
actually very grounded, helpful and friendly.
So I genuinely was stunned, amazed and was totally inspired by Sundar Pichai...
He has made a remarkable change in the world of business and market and also
told the world that if u have talent and knowledge you can change anything in this
world. He has set a well defined benchmark for the upcoming generations to see
and act upon. Decisions like on spot problem solving capabilities and on spot
decision making talents should be learnt from him.
Sundar Pichai is the master of out of the box thinking and sustainable
development designer in his company these characteristics and talent should also
be looked upon by everyone as it very necessary for future and the economy as a
whole.

Title: **My Inspiration: The Roald Model, MS Dhoni**

In the realm of sports and leadership, there are few figures as

iconic and influential as Mahendra Singh Dhoni, lovingly
known as MS Dhoni. His journey from a small town in India to
becoming one of the most successful cricket captains in the
world is not just a tale of remarkable achievements, but also a
testament to the values of resilience, optimism, adaptability,
and leadership. Dhoni's life and career embody the essence of
the ROAL model - Resilience, Optimism, Adaptability, and
Leadership - serving as a guiding light for millions, including
myself.

**Resilience:**

Dhoni's journey was not always smooth sailing. He faced his

fair share of challenges and setbacks, both in his personal life
and on the cricket field. However, his ability to bounce back
from failures and setbacks showcased his remarkable
resilience. Dhoni's unwavering determination, even in the face
of adversity, teaches us the importance of resilience in
achieving our goals and dreams.

**Optimism:**

Dhoni's optimism is contagious. He always approached the

game with a positive mindset, believing in his abilities and his
team. This unwavering optimism not only boosted his own
performance but also inspired his teammates to believe in
themselves. Dhoni's positivity reminds us that a hopeful
outlook can pave the way for success, even in the most
challenging situations.

**Adaptability:**

One of Dhoni's greatest strengths as a leader was his

adaptability. He had a unique ability to assess different
situations and adjust his strategies accordingly. Whether it
was changing the batting order, altering the bowling attack, or
making quick decisions on the field, Dhoni's adaptability was a
key factor in his success. Learning to adapt to changing
circumstances is a valuable lesson that we can draw from his
leadership style.
**Leadership:**

Perhaps the most defining trait of MS Dhoni is his exceptional

leadership skills. He led the Indian cricket team to numerous
victories, including the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, the 2010
and 2016 Asia Cups, and the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. His
calm demeanor under pressure, strategic thinking, and ability
to inspire his team to perform at their best made him a true
leader. Dhoni's leadership qualities serve as a model for
aspiring leaders, emphasizing the importance of leading by
example, effective communication, and fostering teamwork.

** Conclusion:**

MS Dhoni's journey from a small town cricketer to a global

icon is a testament to the power of resilience, optimism,
adaptability, and leadership. His life story continues to inspire
millions, including myself, to strive for excellence and face
challenges with courage and determination. Dhoni's
embodiment of the ROAL model makes him not just a
cricketing legend, but also a source of inspiration for anyone
aiming to achieve greatness in their own endeavors.
