Pendahuluan
Gambar Teknik (Engineering Drawing)

An engineering drawing is a type of technical drawing used to

define the requirements for engineering products or components.

The main purpose of engineering drawings is to clearly and

accurately capture all geometric features of
a product or component so that a manufacturer or engineer can
produce the required item. Drawings do the communication best
merely because a picture is worth a thousand words. Giving all
of the information needed to make the product and being
accurate in that information is the main goal.

Rather than being an illustration, an engineering drawing is

intended to describe the size and shape of an item and may
provide information regarding acceptable variations, load limits,
materials and any other information that can help give
a complete understanding of an item

Komponen Utama Gambar Teknik

Geometry – the shape of the object; represented as views; how
the object will look when it is viewed from various angles, such as
front, top, side, details.

Dimensions and Scale –

the size of the object is
captured in accepted units.

Labeled – represents what

the item is

Information box – containing who drew the drawing, who

approved it, units of dimensions, meaning of views, the title
of the drawing and the drawing number
Standarisasi Gambar

Pengertian
Penyesuaian atau pembakuan cara membuat dan membaca
gambar dengan berpedoman pada standar gambar yang telah
ditetapkan.

Fungsi
1. Kepastian sesuai dan tidak sesuai kepada pembuat dan
pembaca gambar terhadap suatu gambar teknik tertentu.
2. Penyeragaman pemakaian symbol-simbol gambar.
3. Kemudahan komunikasi antara pembuat dan pembaca
gambar.
4. Kemudahan kerjasama antar perusahaan untuk produksi
massal ukuran ukuran yang sama.
5. Kelancaran produksi dan pemasaran suku cadang alat-alat
industri.

1. JIS (JAPANESE INDUSTRIAL STANDARD)
2. ANSI (AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARD INSTITUTE)
3. DIN (DEUTSCHE INDUSTRI NORMEN)
4. NNI (NEDERLAND NORMALISATIE INSTITUUT)
5. SNI (STANDAR NASIONAL INDONESIA)

ISO Standar
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) bertujuan
untuk menyatukan Pengertian Teknik antar Bangsa melalui stadar
tertentu
Bidang kerja ISO yang bertugas membuat standar gambar-gambar
teknik agar dapat diterima di seluruh dunia sebagai bahasa teknik
internasional ialah ISO/TC 10.

Sejarah dan Perkembangannya

Gaspard Monge is an Engineer in the French Military devised
a system that could be used to communicate an object to anyone
across the world. This system is called Orthographic
Projection and was quickly adopted by army engineers.

Shop Drawing
A shop drawing is a drawing or set of drawings produced by
the contractor, supplier, manufacturer, subcontractor, consultants,
or fabricator. It is typically required for prefabricated components.
The shop drawing is the manufacturer’s or the contractor’s drawn
version of information shown in the construction documents

As Build Drawing
An as-built drawing is a revised drawing created and submitted by
a contractor after a construction project is finished. They contain
any changes made from the shop drawings during the
construction process, and provide an exact rendering of the
building and property as it appears upon completion.
