Executive Summary

The seven wonders construction Ltd is a Bangladeshi construction firm, associated with the
job of performing constructional tasks both nationally and internationally. This firm provides
structural formation, interior and exterior design of buildings, workers, engineers for making
the buildings sustainable and decorated. Our company’s construction performance is praised
all over the Bangladesh and Other Countries as well because of our subtle precise service to
the clients. Client’s satisfaction is our main priority.

Our company has completed many constructional works successfully and thus gained the
popularity all over the Bangladesh. For example, the interior and exterior design of the FBS
building of Islamic University has been done by our company’s proficient workers and
planners. Our company has done all those tasks so perfectly that there is no question of
dissatisfaction of our quality service that we always provide to our clients. The arts building
of Dhaka University is the oldest buildings of University of Dhaka and It has many historical
tradition. In this respect, this building should look decorated with excellent wall paintings as
well as different murals over it. So, our company want to take the responsibility of
decorating the arts Building interior and exterior design according to the student’s surveys
preferences.

As our company is entangled with this painting task from the very beginning of its
inauguration we are hoping to have this opportunity to paint the arts building by our
experienced workers. Furthermore, if you want to have look on our working performance

In this report we r pointing out the feasible expenses in order to paint the whole arts
building. Thorough proper researching and evaluating the value of the painting companies

Introduction

The University of Dhaka is one of the best universities in Bangladesh. It has its glorious history
partaining to our liberation war in 1971. Recently, as the Arts Building’s interior and exterior
paintinting has been damaged, the authority has taken an endeavour to repaint Arts Buildings’ walls.
Regarding the situation we “The Seven Wonders Construction Ltd” has been proposed by
Department of English, University of Dhaka to present the project budget according to the given
information. We have accomplished several surveys among the university students. Afterall, we came
up with an estimate budget on the repainting of Arts Building’ exterior and interior walls based on
the surveys and participants’ preferences considering the given instrutions by the authority.

Survey

We surveyed both online and offline but online participants surpassed the offline ones . Total
participants of our survey are 141 male and female.

The graph chart demonstrates the number of online and offline survey participants which
includes both male and female students of DU in different faculties regarding the issue of
repolishing the Arts building exterior.

To start with, 58% of the participants showed their keen interests in temple green color to
be used to decorate the exterior of Arts building which is the highest preferences. On the
contrary, the color which failed to grab the most of the attention of the participants and
became the lowest is deep green.
In addition, grey becomes the second preferences of the students scoring 23% of the total
participants. Furthermore, yellow color has successfully stolen the attention of 10% of
participants which is the second lowest according to the survey.
To conclude, this above graph chart proves that the running students who contributed to the
survey choose temple green color compared to the other options which also indicates that
most of them do not love the existing painting .Besides, this chart brings the different
choices from different people which is extremely necessary to reach a solid and sustainable
decision .

percent.

Market Analysis

We have visited three shops such as Sadat Paints And Hardware, Bismillah Sanitary Paint
and Hardware store and Babul Paint And Hardware to look into the price and standard of some
accessories.

Based on our survey, total arts building is about 81250 feet2. To change the overall outlook of
this building, we have prepared an analyzed report highlighting the cost of this work.

Conclusion

The survey and analysis make us come to the conclusions that the authority of the University
of Dhaka should consider the proposals as the budget is friendly and affordable. As these
proposals and analyses are based mostly on the survey, it is evident that most of the
participants want to see a change not only in the color but also in the facilities this building
provides. Our work will not only create a new outlook of the Arts building but also attract
the other faculties to take this kind of move for enhancing the beauty of DU. Most
importantly, this fascinating environment will also increase the reader friendly atmosphere
in every department of Arts faculty and also highlight the glory of this faculty once again .

Recommendation

The survey result provides a glimpse of the necessity of changing the color of the arts
building at the University of Dhaka, as 80% of participants have agreed to change the color.
We, The seven wonder construction Ltd, would like to inform the governing body of the
University of Dhaka that we are very enthusiastic to be a part of the "Redecorating Art
Building 2023" project. As we have conducted the survey based on the redecoration of the
Art's building, we would like to suggest some ideas that will make the new outlook of the
Art's building better.

1. Mural: Firstly, we suggest to draw murals throughout the walls the arts building. By
conducting the survey, we found that 35% of participants agreed to draw the mural. We
know that the Arts Building of the University of Dhaka is famous for its history and tradition.
Hence, murals can be drawn to highlight those of the Arts Building.

2. Calligraphy: Throughout the survey, we found that 25% of participants wanted to see
calligraphy on the walls of art buildings. Therefore, we also suggest using calligraphy to
redecorate the building. there are departments of different languages, such as Bangla,
English, Arabic, Pali and Buddhist Studies, Sanskrit, etc., different kinds of calligraphy can be
drawn in front of those departments.

3. Budget: The cost of redecorating a building can vary depending on the size of the building,
the materials used, and the labor costs. Approximately, the cost would be more than
15,53,125 taka.
