1 INTRODUCTION:
SABIC is engaged in undertaking research and development in the field of petrochemicals, and has set-up
its research and development Center at: SABIC Research and Technology Private Limited, Plot no. 81 – 85,
Bikenahalli Road, Village Chikkadunsandra, Sarjapur – Attible State Highway, Anekal Taluk,
Off Sarjapur, Bengaluru – 561 124, Karnataka.

2 PURPOSE:
Pigeon entry closing work in all building roof top khurra as per below scope of work (SOW).
3 SCOPE OF WORK:
3.1 The vendor has to visit the site and check thoroughly the existing site condition and take the
measurement as per site actuals before start of work.
3.2 Technical specification and detailed procedure to be submitted before start the works.
3.3 The vendor should submit the work schedule for the SOW.
3.4 Scope of work includes necessary approved materials/ scaffolding/ladder/ tools/tackles required
for completion of above works.
3.5 Completion and warranty certificate must be submitted.
3.6 Actual quantity as per site measurement shall be billed.
3.7 Vendor shall provide warranty for the quality of materials and quality of work/workmanship for
the period of 3 years.
3.8 Material sample to be submitted for approval by the client before the start of work.
3.9 Cleaning of work area and remove of waste debris and stored in one place, shifting accordingly by
outside site premises.
3.10 Vendor can give suggestion ideas, material products and taking necessary approval before starting
of work.
3.11 Submission necessary detailed report, warranty certificates, quality check documents and
checklist.
3.12 STCB will not be responsible for any testing instrument, storage damage or demurrages outside
the site and inside while transportation, unloading, erection.
3.13 Vendor shall prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and submit to SABIC EHSS department for
necessary approval before executing the job.
3.14 Vendor has to ensure all the statutory and legal requirements of the vehicle like, license, vehicle
registration certificate, vehicle Insurance, vehicle road tax, vehicle emission certificate etc.
complete.
3.15 Vendor has to provide all the necessary PPE’s for execution of task in SABIC site and Vendor has
to follow the SABIC safety guidelines.
3.16 Vendor has to provide dedicated Technical supervisor for executing the job.
3.17 Vendor has to arrange for all the materials, work force and all tools and tackles, etc. Drinking
water and power supply, which will be provided by SABIC at one source point within the Block or
at point where the vendor needs to carry out fitting and fabrication. At no point of time SABIC
will be able to provide any material for working or any other utilities apart from what agreed upon.
3.18 All statutory and legal compliances have to be followed by the vendor and the same will be shared
with the vendor time to time by SABIC.
3.19 Before submitting the invoice vendor should send the joint measurement sheet and take
confirmation from the respective SABIC Engineer.

5.1.2 Vendor shall be responsible for verifying the site conditions before commencing site
activities, report any discrepancies between the site conditions and documentation to the
SABIC Engineer, and proceed with the installations only as directed by EIC.

5.2.2 At the completion of the work, the area shall be restored to its original condition, as per
the satisfaction of SABIC Engineer.
5.2.3 Vendor shall maintain proper liaison with SABIC Engineer to ensure proper coordination
with other sub-contractors, vendors and SABIC departments. The contractor shall comply
with all rules and regulations of SABIC/PMT department for Security, ID cards, work
permits, and access in to the work site.-general / special.
6.1 The Vendor shall ensure high quality of materials and workmanship used for the job.
6.2 SABIC Engineer has the right to accept/reject the work as deemed fit. Contractor to consult with
SABIC Engineer about any deviations, recommendations, change in scope and proceed only upon
the approval from SABIC Engineer.
6.3 Third party testing and inspection may have to be carried out as directed by SABIC Engineer
depending on the requirements and quality of work carried out by the vendor. Such third party
inspections and checks have to be considered in the quote and the numbers for the same has to be
specified.
