Interest

My name is Nikhil Kurmi. I am writing this statement to assist with my most

recent application to Laurentian University. This document sufficiently
discusses and mentions my academic achievement, as well as the reasons for
choosing Laurentian University and the desired program.
I completed my secondary school certificate & Higher Secondary Certificate
examination in the science group with the first division result (SSC– 4.88 out of
5) from Kaliprashad High School, Munshibazar, Sylhet & (HSC- 4.00 out of 5)
from Moulvibazar Govt. College, Moulvibazar, Sylhet. I completed my
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering study from Leading
University, Sylhet.
Since I was a student with a science background, I was fully committed to
pursuing master’s in computational science at Laurentian University,
Canada.

I Choose Laurentian University in Canada because Canada is one of the best

places to pursue my higher studies and the country attracts thousands of
students each year from abroad. The country provides world class education
which is recognized globally. Degree from a Canadian university is considered
of excellent value. Your university’s master’s program is ideal for meeting my
educational goals. The diverse and international student body, combined with
modern facilities and esteemed professors, can provide me with a cutting-edge
education that will prepare me for any challenges I may face.
Studying at Laurentian University is an exciting and rewarding opportunity. I
have already got a better idea about Laurentian University. They provide many
facilities for international students. The university has many high-quality
programs offered in a friendly environment. My Bachelor passing year was
November 2018. Then I joined at Savasaachi (Veechi Technologies)
(www.savasaachi.com) as a web developer after 1 year I promoted there as a
Head of Operations. In January,2020 I joined UCAP Canada
(www.ucapworld.com) as a Web Application Developer (Remote) after 1 year I
joined Webermelon (www.webermelon.com) as a IT Project Manager and I
thought about my future educational plans, and apart from IELTS preparation I
have attended many programs on science development related workshops at
various times. From those workshops, I got a lot of ideas about science
development studies.
Long time, I have had a keen interest in science development due to which I have
acquired the necessary knowledge about uses advanced computing capabilities to
understand and solve complex problems etc.

I want to complete my master’s in computational science from Laurentian

University and after completing my study I will come to my country with my
acquired ideas and build a development company so that unemployment in my
country will be removed and computational-science-related ideas will be accessible
to everyone. For this purpose, I need to have in-depth knowledge of computational
science. With some knowledge from my different development-related workshops,
I also need to know about overseas computational-science-related aspects like
advanced computational methods and applications.
In my country, there is great potential and many opportunities for people to have a
foreign education degree in their chosen field. I have decided to spend the rest of
my life in my country by building my career with an internationally recognized
international computational-science-related degree. If I can build my successful
development company, it will enrich my country's economy and I hope the degree
will play an immense role in combating domestic and international economic crises
also. I can proudly be a part of my country’s business development & also can help
to reduce unemployment issues. Which will make the youth of the country more
confident and financially strong.
The master’s program at Laurentian University will enrich my skills and
knowledge and thus I will be able to flourish in my career in my desired area of
interest in Bangladesh with the utmost positive influence. I am genuinely hoping
that my application will be taken into utmost consideration and will grant me a
study permit so that I can proceed with my higher study.

Based on my resources, I believe that I will be able to successfully apply my

acquired knowledge when I come home with my master’s degree.
