Statement of the Problem

This study determines the effects of Mobile Gaming towards the learning ability

of Senior High School students at the University of Cebu Lapu-lapu and Mandaue School

year 2022-2023. The result of this study will serve as the basis for any proposal.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1) What are the effects of Mobile Gaming in Senior High School students towards their

learning ability.

2) How Senior High School students expose of Mobile Gaming look towards their

learning abilities?

3) Based on the findings what proposal we made?

Statement of the Hypothesis

Null Hypothesis Ho: There is no significant difference in the variation of the

schedules of the Pre- Baccalaureate students in terms of how much exposure to mobile

gaming interferes with their capacity to learn.

Alternative Hypothesis H There is a significant difference in the variation of

mobile gaming interferes with their capacity to learn.


Significance of the Study

This study is deemed beneficial to students, school administration, teachers,

parents, and future researchers.

Students. To provide an evaluation and prior knowledge of the students' impact

on mobile gaming. Students are probably aware of the factors and demands of

academic work based on the results. Students' exposure to mobile games may or may

not have an impact on their capacity to learn.

School administration. To guide the students in the midst of how much

exposure to mobile gaming interferes with their capacity to learn. This will give them

background on how to deal with the eagerness and inattention.

Teachers.To give awareness on how to handle and appoint works on students

properly. In addition, this will allow them to manage and improve the workloads given

to the students. Teachers will be more patient and prioritize more guidance to students

and help them focus on learning.

Parents. To discipline our children to keep them from getting carried away with

playing their computer games for an excessive period of time, and to be more

understanding and helpful to them despite the significant change their children are

currently going through


Lastly, Future researchers. It can use this as an instrument for their upcoming

research related to the said study. They can utilize the findings and the result of this

study to their related problem through creating and developing ideas.

Scopes and Delimitations

The goal of our study is to determine how mobile gaming affects senior high

school students' capacity for learning and academic achievement. Our study, which is

restricted to senior high school students at University of Cebu Lapu-lapu and Mandaue,

aims to identify the negative impacts of playing online games and determine whether

exposure to mobile games interferes with students' ability to do their schoolwork. The

study only focuses on how mobile games are exposed to students learning abilities and

how it relates to academic success. The study also looks at how mobile gaming affects

people's behavior.
