NIGERIA.
INTRODUTION
S~M GALADI CHARITY'S FOUNDATION was registered as a corporate body, on

the 18th day of July, 2023 by a group of energetic philanthropists, who came together
with the objective of improving and upgrading livelihood of communities in four (4)
states; of Zamfara, Kano, Gombe and Yobe states of the three geopolitical zones of
North-west and North-east. They also realized the necessity of this establishment as a
means of contributing to development and meeting communities’ needs which has been
the driving force and motivation. Another motivating factor to the establishment of this
charitable foundation is the interest that agencies and other international humanitarian
institutions operating in these areas had to see youth organizations spring up for
development. Their encouragement of the foundation of youth organizations and
promises to help youth organizations improve capacity building; in order to create
participation in development at community levels led to the establishment of S~M
GALADI CHARITY'S FOUNDATION. The charitable foundation, S~M GALADI has
also decided to join the team of Visionaries yearning to impact and develop these zones
in particular, Nigeria in totality and other Sahel region in general . We, like other Non-
Governmental Organizations and International Humanitarian Institutions, aim at
achieving sustainable results from developmental activities and initiatives to our
communities, especially with the youth, children, women, widows and the disabled.
Many communities have seen deteriorations in many areas especially at village and ward
levels. Also there have been many instances of concern where humanitarian activities
haven’t been implemented as projected. Some NGOs and even the Government
authorities who have promised to bring certain developments, improvements or
interventions have in many cases failed the people and communities in Zamfara, Kano
Gombe and Yobe sttes, this goes a long way to affect the development of these
communities. However, there are also many Youth Foundations and NGOs that strive to
bring development and touch lives with great impact. These organizations have great
passion and are diligent in intervening to provide development. The hindering factor to

their ability to be able to effectively have impact through intervention projects has been
crippled by the lack of funds or adequate funds in some cases. One of these sincere
organizations looking out to make a difference and great impact is S~M GALADI
CHARITY'S FOUNDATION.
VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to see people within communities of North-west and North-east live in a
hygienic, friendly and healthy environment with awareness and access to basic education,
health and other opportunities in life.
MISSION STATEMENT
S~M GALADI CHARITY'S FOUNDATION is out to improve and upgrade

communities, and enrich the lives of the youth with purpose through community based
advocacy programmes and trainings on both boys and girl child education including
people with disability, widows/widowers and sanitation awareness, vocational and
agricultural trainings, and women empowerment programmes.
GOAL
Our goal is to have impact in lives by providing high impact oriented, cost effective, &
culturally competent capacity building programs to people in Zamfara, Kano, Gombe and
Yobe states, particularly; youth, widows, disabled and children of school going age.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
 To bridge the gap between the poor and the rich in the community;
 To improve the lives of the underprivileged people through providing high quality
education which expands individual’s opportunities;
 To empower individuals to have control over their lives and become productive
members of society and
 To promote girl child education on sciences and technology.
SOTHER OBJECTIVES
 To provide basic education, vocational education and trainings for the

disadvantaged adolescents (orphanages) and youth in order to make them literate
and be empowered;
 To eliminate gender inequalities in primary and secondary education by achieving

equality in education, with ensuring girl’s full and equal access to basic education
of good quality.
 To improve the environmental condition for nomads and

rural people.
 To make campaigns of tree plantation within communities.
 Empower widows to be financially independent through capacity building.
 Empower youth to take Agriculture seriously within the state.
 To raise awareness, understanding and knowledge on HIV/AID and other STD’s
within communities in Kebbi state and North-Western Nigeria in general.

Our Company is managed by the owners with a sport from the competent team of experts in
divers’ fields of study. The following management team serves the foundation at present;

The team works competently together to ensure sustainability, satisfaction toward actualization of
their mission, vision, goal and objectives.
SUMAYYA SALIHU: The chairperson graduated from School of Health Technology, Tsafe,
Zamfara state where she obtained a National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma
(HND) in the field of Medical Laboratory Technician. The chair also obtained a degree in
English language through online distance study from Harbal University, India in 2022. The chair
has worked in several capacities as a community health officer both in the civil service and Non-
Governmental Organisations (NGO) specialising in community development, before establishing
S~M GALADI CHARITY'S FOUNDATION.
MARYAM SALIHU GALADI: The secretary is a graduate of School of Health Technology,

Tsafe, Zamfara state where she obtained a National Diploma in the field of Health Information
Technology. The secretary has worked in several capacities as a community health information
officer both in the civil service and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) specialising in
community development, before co-founding S~M GALADI CHARITY'S FOUNDATION.
MUHAMMAD MANNIR AHMAD: A member of S~M GALADI CHARITY'S FOUNDATION,

was educated at East London University, in 2018 where obtained a Master’s degree in science computer
system engineering (software system and a PhD in-view in the field of computing the prestigious University
Malaysia of Computing Science & Engineering. Mr. Muhammad has worked in different organisations both
local and international before
