Participation Rules:
● Group Requirement:
○ There shall be one group in each school.
● Team Composition:
○ A participating team must consist of 3 pairs of male and female performers.
● Eligibility:
○ Only bonafide students are allowed to participate in the said competition.
Dance Performance:
● Provided Piece:
○ The participants will be given the same piece "Polka sa Nayon," and the dance
pattern is attached to these guidelines.
● Music Provider:
○ The organizer will provide the music, which will be emailed after the
registration/confirmation of each participating school.
● Timing Limit:
○ If the participating team exceeds the given time, one (1) point will be deducted
per judge.

Contestant Rules:
● Number of Contestants:
● Each school may submit one (1) or two (2) contestants.
● Elimination Round:
● An elimination round shall be conducted when the total number of contestants
reaches ten (10).
Speech Topic:
● Topic Selection:
● The topic will be based on current events.
Speech Presentation:
● Preparation Time:
● The contestant is given two (2) minutes to prepare for his/her answer.
● Delivery Time Limit:
● Delivery must not exceed three (3) minutes.
● Time Management:
● The timer will raise the flag thirty (30) seconds before the maximum time limit.
● The timer will again raise the flag twice to indicate that the contestant has
consumed the time limit.
● Substitutes
○ If there are any inevitable instances that may lead to the absence of the
contestant/s, substitutes are allowed to replace them, provided that they are
identified upon registration before the contest, during the preliminary round.

Contest Nature:
● Contest Description:
○ The nature of the contest involves smartphone photography.
● Provided Model:
○ There will be one model provided by the organizers to be used as a subject by
the contestants.
● Subject Limitation:
○ Only what is in the setting will be reflected in the photo. The addition of other
objects as a subject in the photo is prohibited.
● Photography Angle:
○ The contestants may take pictures from any angle of the model that they see
most fitting for their contest entry.
Photography Process:
● Photography Time Limit:
○ Each contestant shall be given a maximum of three (3) minutes to take pictures
of the model.
● Photo Selection and Description:
○ After all the contestants have taken pictures of the model, contestants will be
given two (2) minutes to choose their best pictures and another five (5) minutes
to compose their one hundred (100) word photo description using the template
provided by the organizer.

○ Each school may send one (1) or two (2) teams.
Quiz Format:
● Question Categories:
○ The questions shall cover Mathematics, Literature, History, General Sciences,
and Current Events.
● Language of Questions:
○ Questions will be asked in English.
○ The quizmaster will read each question TWICE.
Competition Phases:
1. Elimination Phase:
○ In the Elimination Phase, a written examination (speed test) will be given
composed of 30 questions related to Mathematics and General Sciences. This
shall be taken for fifteen (15) minutes.
○ The top ten (10) teams based on the average team score will proceed to the
semi-final round.
○ The elimination phase will only be conducted if there are more than 10 registered
participating teams; otherwise, the registered teams will automatically qualify for
the 2nd phase.
2. 2nd Phase:
○ In the 2nd Phase, there will be three sets of rounds with corresponding points for
each correct answer:
■ Easy set – 2 points
■ Intermediate set – 3 points
■ Difficult set – 5 points
○ There will be no penalty for wrong and no answers.
○ Each set is made of 8 questions.
○ Answers should be written neatly, with proper capitalization and correct units
when required.
3. Final Phase:
○ The top five ranked teams from the 2nd Phase will qualify for the Final Phase.
○ In the final phase, fifteen (15) questions will be given, with scores corresponding
to the difficulty of the question.
○ The scores of the “Final Five” from previous rounds will be reset to zero when the
final phase begins.
○ There will be penalties for wrong answers unless teams decide to leave their
boards blank.

○ The airtime should not exceed three (3) minutes in length.

● Technical Equipment:
○ The contestants shall provide their own equipment/materials for the technical
aspect.
● Timing:
○ The time will immediately start the moment the contestants utter the first word of
their report.
● Content Restrictions:
○ There must be no bashing of a known or prominent personality in the report.

Komposisyon ng Koponan:
● Bilang ng Miyembro:
○ Ang bawat koponan ay kinakailangang may labing limang (15) kasapi.
Logistika ng Patimpalak:
● Pagdating ng Koponan:
○ Inaasahan na ang mga koponan ay darating isang oras bago magsimula ang
kompetisyon para sa pagpaparehistro at pagbibigay ng mga tagubilin.
● Paghahanda:
○ Ang mga koponan ay inaasahang darating nang handa para sa kompetisyon.
○ Ang paggamit ng likod ng entablado ay ipinagbabawal.
● Lugar ng Pagtatanghal:
○ Ang mga koponan ay dapat magtanghal lamang sa "ground floor."
○ May mga marka na magiging gabay para sa bawat koponan sa kanilang
designated na lugar sa pagtatanghal.
● Oras ng Pagtatanghal:
○ Ang pagtatanghal ng Sabayang Pagbigkas ay hindi dapat bababa sa limang
minuto at hindi dapat lalagpas ng labinlimang minuto.
