1. Watch the YouTube Channel i-witness : “Savage: Juan Luna in Paris” a documentary of
Howie Severino.

following questions below.
2. Write your answers in a one whole yellow paper with a proper heading: Name starting
with Family Name, First Name and Middle Initial, Class Schedule and Subject, and the
date Today.
Ex: (Panangin, Lalaine History 101 (Thu, 5:30-8:30 PM) August 31, 2023)

3. Familiarize and study your answers because I’ll be calling random names next meeting.
4. The deadline of this activity will be on Thursday next meeting, September 7, 2023
5. On Thursday, September 7, 2023, I will meet you face-to-face and prepare yourselves for
some sort of activities.

1. What are the primary sources and secondary you encountered in the
documentary?
2. Why did Constancio Ongpin and Mara Pardo de Tavera had different
interpretation of about the same event? Based on the sources presented, who
among the two are more convincing then why?
3. Did Howie Severino presented the documentary objectively? Explain your
answer.
