What is information?
1. Printed Media
Print media refers to printed
materials, such as books and
magazines, that contain words
and images.
Characteristics: Newspapers,
magazines, and books provide
in-depth analysis and historical
context.
2. Digital Media
Digital media include
information channels that are
broadcast via speakers and/or
screens. This also applies to
content that is sent over the
internet for online viewing or
listening, such as text, audio,
video, and graphics.
-Characteristics: Websites,
blogs, and online news platforms
offer real-time updates.
3. Broadcast Media
a broad range of various media,
including radio, television,
newspapers, magazines, and any
other content provided by the
press and media.
- Characteristics: Television and
radio deliver news through
audio-visual means.
4. Academic Journals
A academic magazine, also
known as an academic journal, is
a periodical that publishes
research papers related to a
specific academic field.
Academic journals are
transparent, long-lasting
platforms for research
presentation, evaluation, and
discussion.
- Characteristics: Peer-
reviewed journals provide
scholarly articles.
5. Social Media:
Social media describes the ways
in which individuals
communicate with one other by
creating, sharing, and/or
exchanging ideas and
information through online
groups and networks.
- Characteristics: Platforms like
Twitter and Facebook facilitate
user-generated content.
6. Government Reports:
- Characteristics: Official
documents from government
bodies.
- Limitations: May be politically
biased, complex language.
7. Personal Interviews:
A personal interview is usually a
face-to-face meeting or two-way
communication between the
recruiter and the candidate.
