AGAR AGAR ERAUZKETA PROZESUA / AGAR AGAR EXTRACTION PROCESS

Lehenik eta behin, eskerrak eman nahi dizkiogu Nereari, berari esker lortu baitugu alga. Erabili dugun
alga gorria Gracilaria generoko alga gorria da. / First of all, we would like to thank Nerea as we
obtained the algae thanks to her. The red algae that we will use for the agar extraction is a red algae
that belongs to the Gracilaria genus.

1. Lehenik eta behin garbitu alga iturriko urarekin, eduki dezaken ondar edo lurra kentzeko / To
begin with, clean the algae with tap water to remove the sand or dirt that it may contain.

2. Jarri labea 40℃ eta lehortu alga periodikoki pisatuz masaren balioa konstante mantendu arte
/ Set the oven at 40℃ and dry the algae weighing it periodically until the value of the mass
remains constant.

3. Idatzi lortutako masa / Write down the final mass.

4. Berotu iturriko ura lapiko batean irakiten hasi arte eta gehitu alga. / Boil tap water in a cooking
pot and add the algae.

5. Alga ordu eta erdiz irakiten utzi. / Boil the algae for an hour and a half.

6. Ura hoztu lapikoa izotzetan jarriz. / Cool the water by introducing the pot in ice.

7. Hartu algak lapikotik eta jarri filtro oilean, gero busti lapikoko urarekin eta bihurritu oiala.
Errepikatu operazio hau ahal bezain bestetan. / Take the muslin cloth and put the algae in
there, then soak it with some water from the pot and squeeze it. Repeat this operation as
many times as you can.

8. Filtratutako likidoa labean lehortu 60℃ tan agar agar hautsa lortu arte./ Dry the filtrate at the
oven at 60℃ until you get agar agar powder.

9. Pisatu hautsa periodikoki masa konstante mantendu arte./ Weigh the powder periodically until
the value of the mass remains constant.

10. Erabili lortutako masaren balioa errendimendua kalkulatzeko. / Use the value of the mass that
you obtained to calculate the yield.

11. Konparatu zure errendimendua artikuluan lortu zuten errendimenduarekin. / Compare the
yield with the yield of the article.
EXTRA ACTIVITY WITH AGAR AGAR (OPTIONAL)

Erabili autoklabea lortutako agar agarra esterilizatzeko. Ondoren erabili lortutako agar agar hautsa
Petri plaka batean hazte medio bat sortzeko. Eskua hainbat azaleratik pasa eta garbitu gabe hazte
medioa ikutu. Petri plaka estali eta egun batzuk itxaron. Begiratu ea bakteria koloniak hazten diren. /
Use the autoclave to sterilize the agar powder. Then use the powder to make a growth medium in a
Petri plate. Drag your hand through some surfaces and touch the Petri plate. Cover the plate and wait
for a few days. See if bacteria colonies grow in the growth medium.

SAKAROSAREN ERAUZKETA PROZEDURA/SACAROSE EXTRACTION


PROCESS
1. 5 laranjaren zukua lortu zukugailuan eta pisatu./Extract the juice of 5 oranges and weight.
2. Zukua filtratu iragazki batekin ezpurutasunak kentzeko./Filtrate the juice with a strainer to take
out the impurities.
3. Ateratako pulpa koilara batekin zapaldu ahalik eta etekin gehien ateratzeko./Smash the pulp
with a spoon to get as much juice as possible.
4. Zukua berotu hasierako bolumenaren erdia lortu arte./Heat the juice till it’s reduced to a half
of its initial volume.
5. Büchner enbutua erabili aurretik, iragazkia pisatu eta lehortzen utzi hezetasuna
kentzeko./Before using the Büchner funnel, weighten the filtration paper and let it dry in the
oven to take out the humidity.
6. Lortutakoa Büchner inbutuaren bidez iragazten dugu./Filter the obtained juice using the
Büchner funnel.
7. Airera lehortzen utzi kristalak agertu arte./Let it dry till the crystallization happens.
8. Kristalak pisatu eta errendimendua kalkulatu./Weighten the crystals and calculate the yield.
