Reflection

So I’ve watched the identical twin with dwarfism video, which I’ve observed that they are
usually compared with each other. And honestly, it is so sad to see those people who
suffer and survive on this kind of disorder because I can feel the pain and the questions
why they have this kind of disorder and so on.

So as a future educator, this is my chance to teach those people that we have to treat
them special because they are the angel of God who sent on earth to offer our life will
be more meaningful. And as being an educator in the field of Physical Education, I’ll do
my best to motivate my students with special needs in the way that to teach them what
they want to learn in this field and teach them about the lessons in life by perpetuating
them in doing an activity so that they will reflect themselves that they are not disordered
or disabled on the other hand they are special well-being.
As a Future Teacher give 3 classroom strategies for your specific disorder video
you chose.

So as a future teacher, these are my strategy for teaching in special education,

specifically with dwarfism or regardless of the severity of their disabilities.

 Offer the student training in study skills, time management and

organization skills

Form small groups of two or three students within the class groups according to
their level can help with personalizing the teaching while not sacrificing class instruction
time. For example, in our field which is Physical Education, one group could be working
on the basics while a more advanced group could be working on their physical activity
tasks.

 Set predictable intervals of no work period which the child may earn as a
reward for effort

Allow breaks for children with ADHD because paying attention takes extra effort
and can be very tiring for them. And allow them to have time to move and exercise.

 Help the student get started with individual task

Understand that children with ADHD may become deeply absorbed in activities
that interest them (hyper-focus) and may need extra assistance shifting their attention.
And provide extra warnings before transitions and changes routines.
