CHERRY JAM

The diagram demonstrates the stages of prepareing cherry jam. There are a
number of process involved, from harvesting the fruit from the tree to putting it
into jars ready to sell.
First, a sheet is spread on the ground and the tree is shaken to get the
cherries down from the tree. Then, the cherries are collected and transported by
truck to the processing plant. There the leaves and stems are removed and then the
cherries are washed. Next, the stone is taken out of the middle of the cherry. The
next stage is to cook the cherries and add extra ingredients. After that, the quality
of the jam is checked and then the jam is put into jars. Finally, a label is stuck on
the jars and ready to be sold in stores.
