After watching the film entitled "The Blind Soldier" i was astounded by its story and how

this kind of story really play a significant role in Philippine history. It makes me want to
keep on watching, enjoying while educating myself at the same time. Realizing that many
people have been sacrificing their lives back then to protect our country and emphasizing
the liberty we are now experiencing, it was through this movie that makes me feel my
Filipino blood is boasting up.

Noticing the Teduray courageous act on joining the United States Army Forces in the Far
East to battle against Japanese armed forces it was a challenge to them because of being
illiterate and can't speak english language to communicate with the US armies. But despite
these disadvantages they still want to fight back and prove their worth as they battle for
their families and loved ones and the pride of their Teduray tribe.
