I. Objectives : At the end of 60 minutes period, 80 percent of the students


should be able to understand :
A. Express multiplication as repeated addition;
B. Understand the solving multiplication ones to higher numbers
C. Solve multi-step involving addition , subtraction and multiplications.

Subtract the ones
Subtract the tens
Subtract the hundreds
Subtract the thousands

Our next lesson is all about Multiplying Whole Numbers

There are Five step of multiplying whole numbers

 Product - two numbers is the result that you get when you multiply them together.
 Times- Another word for multiply.
 Multiplicand- is a quantity that is multiplied by another (the multiplier)
 Multiplier- is a factor that amplifies or increases the base value of something else.
 Factors - is a number that you multiply with another number to get a product.
Example : 2142 Multiplicand 1st Factor
x 12 2 Multiplier 2nd Factors
4284 = 2 x 2142
Partial 42840 = 20 x 2142
Product 214200 = 100 x 2142
