HOW TO SELF - ASSESS HEALTH-RELATED FITNESS (HRF) STATUS, BARRIERS TO

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PARTICIPATION, AND ONE'S DIET

A. What are the Components of fitness?

The components of fitness are cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular


endurance, flexibility, body composition.

B. Which component of fitness are you strongest? Why you say so?
I am confident that the component fitness that I am strongest is the muscular strength,
because first and foremost I am not really good at the other fitness components, but in terms of
muscular strength I can really say that I am strongest in this aspect because I can really exert a
full amount of force in doing something, especially when I am determined to do it.

C. Which component of fitness are you weakest at? Why do you say so?

The component that I am weakest at is the cardiovascular endurance, it is because


whenever I am doing exercise, I get tired even in just a bit of time, I also can’t produce a lot of
oxygen which is greatly needed in exercising. I can’t perform high intensity exercise in a long
span of time because of the lack of oxygen in my body.
