SUBJECT: REQUEST TO CLAIM DAMAGES/RESTORATION INSTEAD OF RELOCATION

/SHIFTING OF INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROVISION OF ESTIMATED
QUANTITY WITH COST BREAKDOWN OF RESTORATION WORKS TO INCUR
AGAINST CONSTRUCTION WORKS OF PROJECT PRSWSSP IN TEHSIL
SHUJABAD

This is with reference to your letter ref No. MMOA/2097 dated 03.11.2023.

It is stated that PRMSC Tehsil Office Shujabad received cost estimate from your
good office against shifting/relocation of infrastructure for the execution of construction works
in the locality, where Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) infrastructure is present.

We highly value the importance of the existing pipeline and associated

infrastructure, and we want to assure you that all our construction activities in these respective
localities will be carried out with the utmost care, precision, and adherence to safety
standards. Our approach involves using manual labor and precise instruments to minimize any
potential risks or damages to the existing pipeline and infrastructure.

In light of our commitment to responsible construction practices, we would like

to propose that in the event of any damages caused during our construction works, we request
to only claim damages rather than insisting on the relocation of the existing infrastructure. We
understand the significance of SNGPL's infrastructure, and our intention is to ensure that any
unintended consequences are rectified promptly.

To further guarantee the safety and integrity of the SNGPL infrastructure, we are
implementing the following measures:

1. Conducting a thorough assessment of the existing pipeline and infrastructure before

commencing construction.
2. Employing experienced and skilled manual labor for excavation and construction
activities in close proximity to the infrastructure.
3. Utilizing precise instruments and modern technologies to ensure accurate and
controlled construction processes.
4. Collaborating closely with your designated representatives to address any concerns or
specific requirements related to the protection of the existing infrastructure.

We believe that this approach will not only safeguard the integrity of the SNGPL
infrastructure but also streamline the claims process by focusing on damages rather than
unnecessary relocation expenses.
