SK IBABAO RESOLUTION NO. 02-2023

“A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MRS. CHRISTIAN JOY DOSDOS AS

SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN SECRETARY OF BARANGAY IBABAO, SOGOD,
CEBU”

WHEREAS, the Republic Act. 10742 also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform
Act of 2015 provides in Chapter 2 Section 13. States that the Sangguniang Kabataan
Chairperson, with the concurrence of the Sangguniang Kabataan, has the power to appoint
among the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan a secretary and Treasurer;

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742 further provides for the following qualifications of an SK
Secretary;

●must be a citizen of the Philippines, a qualified voter of the Katipunan ng

 Kabataan;

● a resident of the barangay for not less that one (1) year immediately preceding
the day of the elections

●at least eighteen (18) years but not more than twenty-four (24) years of age on
the day of the elections

WHEREAS, from among the Katipunan ng Kabataan members of Barangay Ibabao, Sogod
Cebu, the chairman recommended Mrs. Christian Joy Dosdos for the position of SK
Secretary after due consideration of his qualifications and finding him to possess the
necessary skills and experience required for the position as SK Secretary;

NOW THEREFORE, AS IT HIS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SANGGUNIANG

KABATAAN to approve the appointment of Ms. Christian Joy Dosdos as Secretary of the
Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Ibabao, Sogod Cebu.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the SK Chairman of Ibabao, Sogod, Cebu be authorized to

furnish copies of this Resolution to the Office of the Mayor of Sogod, Cebu as well as the
office of
the Department of Interior and Local Government of this Municipality.

CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY this 24th day of November, 2023 at Ibabao,Sogod, Cebu.
