What have you seen? A male and female reproductive organs teacher.

Very good!

So, you have an idea of what is our lesson for

today?

Yes Kevin? It is all about the reproductive system teacher.

Good job! Kevin!

C. Presentation

Our lesson for today is all about Parts of the

Reproductive.

A human body is formed by the union of the

sperm and the egg.

But where do egg and sperm cells come from?

Both the male and female bodies have gonads, or
sex organs.

They produce sperm cells and male sex hormones.

The female gonads are called ovaries.

They produce egg cells and female hormones.

The principal male sex hormone is testosterone,
which regulates the production of sex cells and
the development of male characteristics.

The ovaries produce two hormones, estrogen and

progesterone, which regulate the release of the
egg cells and the development of female
characteristics.

These hormones are also responsible for teenage

acne, occasional moodiness, and the interest for
the opposite sex.

 Male Reproductive System

The testes are two oval-shaped organs that

produce sperm cells.

As you can see in the image below, the testes are

located in a protective sac called scrotum. The
scrotum is a loose pouch like sac located behind
the penis.

Sperm cells, which are the smallest cells in the

human body, are produced in tiny coiled tubules in
the testes called seminiferous tubules.

The length of these tubes is more than 450 meters.

Mature sperm cells are temporarily stored in the
epididymis.

When the sperm cells leave the tubules in each

testes, they enter a larger tube called the sperm
duct or vas deferens.

The two sperm ducts lead to the urethra.

As the sperm cells pass through the urethra, they

are mixed with seminal fluids from three glands.
These are the bulbourethral gland, prostate
gland,and seminal vesicles.

The fluids protects the sperm cells. Provide them

with energy, and enable them to swim.

Together, the fluids and the sperm cells form a

thick, milky liquid called semen.

In addition to semen, the urethra carries also urine.

However, it can only carry one fluid at a time.

The urethra is located in the penis, the organ that
release sperm cells from a female’s body.

The penis also transfers sperm cells to the female’s

body.

 Female Reproductive System

The main organs of the female reproductive system

are the ovaries.

These are two small organs that produce egg cells.

A female is born with all the eggs she will need.

As she matures into puberty, her body begins to

produce hormones that cause the eggs to mature.
However, most of these eggs do not mature.
A mature egg cell is the largest cell in the human
body.

It is about the size of a small dot on a piece of

paper.

A mature egg released from the ovary enters the

oviduct of fallopian tube, which lead to the uterus.
The uterus is a hollow, pear-shaped organ with the
muscular walls.

It is where the fetus grows and develops.

The lower end of the uterus is the cervix.

It connects the uterus to the vagina.

The vagina is a muscular tube that leads to the

outside female body.

This is also called the birth canal.

Do you understand class? Yes teacher.

C. Presentation

Our lesson for today is all about Identifying Point of

View.

Reading and writing are two skills that go as a package.

It is important to note that in order for you to become

a good writer, you must also be a good reader.

Reading allows being imaginative, while writing allows

you to be evaluative.

One skill that you should hone is to identify the

narrator’s point of view.

Point of View is the type of narrator used in fiction and

nonfiction texts to convey the message. The point of
view of the narrator varies for each text, and it is used
to make the readers gain more knowledge and
understanding of what they are reading.

There are five common types of point of view.
