Everybody read the definition of Dynamic contraction. However, they do not cause

So. dynamic stretching is a warm-up
exercise for us to be prepare before (Students are listening)

How to perform:
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width
apart
2. Bend your knees and push your hips
back as you squat down until your
thighs are parallel with the ground.
How to perform:
1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart.
2. Maintaining straight posture, lift one
knee to your chest, rapidly switching
to your other leg.

✓ Leg swings – are a dynamic
movement that helps to prepare the
Hip Flexors and legs for movement.
How to perform:
1. Standing straight and keeping your
hips aligned.
2. Swing one leg forward and
backward in a single smooth
movement.
How to perform:
1. Stand straight with your feet
shoulder-width apart.
2. Bring your right arm across the front
of your body at chest height
3. Using the cease of your left arm or
hand, support your right arm.

✓ Toe touch – is a core exercise
performed sitting on the floor with
your legs and arms outstretched.
Also, it works great as part of a well-
rounded fitness routine.
How to perform:
1. Stand straight with your feet slightly
apart and toes pointing forward.
2. Keeping your legs straight, bend
from the hips and reach down
toward your toes.
How to perform:
1. Stand straight with your legs
together, knees touching.
2. While standing on one leg, raise
your opposite foot using your hand
towards your glutes.
Every group will be provided with a handout. In your handouts, you have there the
instructions. I will give you 3 mins to do your work and 5 mins to present your work.
Directions: 1-2 questions write your
answers on manila paper. No.3 question Students participating

1. Definition of static stretching; Static stretching is more appropriate in the
cool down as they help muscles to relax,
realign muscles fibers and re-establish their
normal range of movement.
D. APPLICATION

You will execute the different ways of
dynamic and static stretching. As I mention Yes ma’am

stretching, you will perform it. Understand

E. GENERALIZATION
TEACHER’S ACTIVITY STUDENTS’ ACTIVITY
To sum it up to what we have discussed this
afternoon. Stretching is a type of exercise
that boosts flexibility and mobility by
lengthening the muscles, either by
extending them or with movement. The two (Students are listening)
types of stretching that we have discussed
are the dynamic and static stretching.
Dynamic is a warm-up exercise whereas,
static is a cool down or post-workout
exercise.

3. It is a great stretching exercise for
