Course Description: This course is an introduction to the field of operations management. The topics covered include both strategic
issues and practical applications. Among the topics are forecasting, product and service design, inventory
management, scheduling, supply chain management, and project management.

Academic Honesty
All students are expected to be academically honest. Cheating, lying and other forms of unethical
behavior will not be tolerated. Any student found guilty of cheating in any assignment, quiz, examination
or plagiarism in submitted course requirement will receive a grade of 5.0 or failure in the said quiz or

Absence and Tardiness


The University policy on absences and tardiness is hereby adopted.

Quiz and Major Examination


Quiz may be announced or unannounced, while major examination is always announced. Special quiz or
examination is given if a student can present to the department valid reason(s), otherwise no special quiz
or examination shall be given.

The University dress code is hereby adopted; department uniform will be imposed for students as
scheduled.
Submission of Course Requirements
All course requirements shall be submitted on the date scheduled; otherwise the professor may at his
discretion refuse to accept such requirements. If a professor would accept late course requirement, there
shall be deduction points to be given to the student’s submitted requirements.
