THEME: IMPORTANCE OF FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES

TOPIC: ‘COUNTRY BEFORE SELF’

AIM AND OBJECTIVE OF THE EVENT


The civil society has to quintessentially take the responsibility of nation-
building. Each citizen will play a vital role in building New India. It is
relevant to provide a platform to today’s youth to discuss about meaning,
content and purpose of Fundamental Duties. A young thoughtful,
innovative and a committed citizen that has power to transcend
political and social boundaries. The event has been designed with the
objective to deliberate on Fundamental Duties and responsible citizenship.
BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE EVENT:
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment on 19th November 2015
notified the decision of Government of India to celebrate 26th Day of
November every year as ‘Constitution Day’ to promote Constitutional values
among citizens. To celebrate Constitution Day a program has been
hosted by Sansad Ratan Awards Committee, Next Gen Political Leaders,
Prime Point Foundation and Ahlcon International School. The various
events have been organised to commemorate the Constitution Day. On
Thursday, 25th November 2021, ‘Oratorical Competition’ will be
conducted and details of the Competition are shared in this document.

TEAM COMPOSITION: Individual Participation
TIME DURATION FOR EACH SPEAKER: 3 Minutes (2.30 + 0.30)
VENUE: AHLCON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, (SCHOOL AUDITORIUM)

REPORTING TIME ON THE DAY OF EVENT: 9:00 AM

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

 The Registration of this event will be on first come first serve basis.

entries will be considered and will qualify for the competition.
 The best five speakers will be awarded as ‘Best Speaker’ and will be
participating in Panel Discussion on 26th November 2021.
 Reading from paper or script will not be permitted
 The decision of Judges will be final and binding.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

 Participants has to be accompanied by a teacher.


 Participant will turn up in school uniform and carry school
ID card.
 Participant must follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour. It
includes maintenance of physical distancing and wearing
of mask.
 Participants will carry their own water bottle and lunch (if
required).

NOTE: THE PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS HAVE TO FILL THE REGISTRATION


FORM. THE LAST DATE OF REGISTRATION WILL BE SATURDAY, 20TH
NOVEMBER 2021.
