1. List your CORE VALUES/MOTIVATIONS?

My core values/motivations are to be kind to everyone/everything and to try and

understand people even if they have a different opinion.

2. How have they changed or been enforced by ideas you have learned in this class?

I believe that my core values have stayed the same after this class, but have been

reinforced. I believe that they have been reinforced because throughout taking this class

I have learned that each individual has their own story. If you take your time to learn

about each persons history, then you will most likely be able to understand their beliefs

even if it is the opposite as you.

3. How would you describe your identity, love about yourself, would like to change about

yourself and how has it changed or been reenforced by this class? (200 words)

I believe that I am a pretty laid back person and I always try to find the best in everyone.

I love how much I have grown over time, and I also love the hobbies I do. I think

something I could change about myself is not procrastinating on things. I have noticed

that I not only procrastinate on homework assignments, but also things in real life. I like

to do photography, and there are some times that I decide I'm going to go out and take

pictures but then I decide that I'll just wait until the next day to do it. I always put it off

and then don't take any photos for a few days.

4. What are your thoughts about Humanity and your role as a part of the World as how

have they changed as a result of this class? (200 words)

This class has reshaped my thoughts on humanity greatly. After taking this class, I have

realized how similar we all are even if we live on the opposite side of the world and have
different cultures. We are all human beings that have thoughts and feelings. I also feel

that this class has made me feel a bigger responsibility to help the people around me

more.

5. Feedback for Prof. Jensen, what you liked about the class and what you would

change to make it better for the next time it is taught.

Overall, I really loved taking this class and also how it was taught. The only thing I feel I

would change is having projects in which each group researches a topic and presents

what they learned. I feel that I learn quite a bit about the topic that I researched during

the group presentations, but I have a hard time learning about some of the other topics

that my classmates are presenting.

6. Self Grade- What grade you give yourself on participation out of 100 in our class and

why?

I would give myself a 90/100 on participation. I think I could've done better on

participating during full class discussions, but I always tried to participate during the

small group discussions.
