Introduction Good day! I am Julia Valencia, and I will be hosting today’s


190th GCOE Recognition Rites Video Viewing event.

My dear graduating students
Friends, ladies and gentlemen ……..

A pleasant good morning to all! On behalf of the


administrators, faculty and Co-Academic Personnel (CAP) of
the GCOE, welcome to the GCOE recognition rites! This
activity is held every term to give honor and recognition to
our graduating students and those who excelled academically
in the different programs that we offer in the college. This
term will be different as we are doing virtual recognition rites.
Today, we join you in your celebration as you journey
through another stage of your life. We believe that we have
molded you as true Lasallians for God and our country –
ready to teach minds, touch hearts, and transform lives. And
with that we congratulate you. As your mentors, we are very
proud of your achievements and we pray for your success.

As we begin the program, it is important for us to thank the


Lord for all the blessings that we receive especially in today’s
celebration. May I request everyone to please stand for the
invocation to be led by Mr. JADIN ZAM S. DOCTOLERO,
graduating Summa Cum Laude with BSMS Chemical
Engineering and please remain standing for the singing of the
Philippine National Anthem.

Our guest speaker – Engr. Francis Guevara, and faculty of


GCOE.

Before we proceed with the main program, we would like to


present a short video remembering one of our graduating
students for the First Trimester of AY20-21. It is unfortunate
that he cannot be here with us today to celebrate this
momentous event. This short video would like to give honor
and recognition to his achievements and to remember how he
lived his life.
PRESENTATI At this point, I would like to present to our Dean, department

ever dynamic and hardworking dean, Dr. Jonathan R.
Dungca.

At this point, we will proceed with the inspirational speech


from our guest speaker.

Our guest speaker has over 15 years experience in mechanical


engineering design and plant work. He graduated with a
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from
De La Salle University. He is also a member of the Philippine
Society of Ventilating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration
and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Young Engineers
in ASHRAE (YEA), and National Master Plumbers
Association of the Philippines.

May we now call on Engr. Francis Guevara for his speech.

graduating students. Thank you very much for accepting our
invitation despite your very busy schedule.
Calling of To show our gratitude and appreciation to all our graduating
Graduates students, each one will be receiving the GCOE pin. These pins
can be claimed at the Office of the GCOE Associate Dean
when the situation permits.
