TASK 1

The diagram illustrates the stages of the strawberry jam process from harvesting until it is ready to
be sold.

It is clear that there are 13 steps so that the strawberries are ready to be purchased by the
consumer. Furthermore, we can also see that it goes through different states of temperature and
time to obtain the jam.

The gelatin begins its process from the collection, which is placed in containers, and then
transported to the corral; In the fourth step of this process, the quality of the fruit must be washed
and checked, ruling out moisture and bruises. Subsequently, the process of cutting into halves or
quarters continues, the fruit is added to a container with sugar, crushed, stirred, and placed in the
refrigerator for several hours, to begin the cooking process over low heat and stirring.

In the ninth step, the mixture is already thick and is placed in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. As the
next step, it must be cooked for about 20 to 40 minutes and after this step, it must be transferred
to hot and sterilized containers to be put back into the refrigerator. the refrigerator for one night.

Finally, the jam is ready, the jars must be labeled and sealed, to reach the final step of the chain
which consists of taking them to stores and supermarkets.

TASK 2

Recently attention has been drawn to the fact that, in some cultures, getting married and having
children is a symbol of having achieved everything in life. While other cultures consider that a good
position at work and winning a job is seen as a sign of success. Personally, I side with both
positions partially, as will be discussed in this essay.

Finding the person who is projected as the one who will accompany us in our old age and seeing
our children grow and accompany them, is undoubtedly a great satisfaction in life. However, it is
necessary to keep in mind that not everything is there. For example, children leave and begin their
lives in the same way, or our partner may also leave for other reasons, which is why all hope
should not be placed on getting married and having children.

On the other hand, having an important professional career through interesting jobs and trying to
climb the ladder, always obtaining better salaries, is very attractive, also accompanied by a lot of
travel. However, when this is lived alone, life loses meaning and is not enjoyed to the fullest. An
example of this is being able to buy a mansion with the latest model cars but living in it and driving
alone, you lose the purpose of the emotion.

In conclusion, although some cultures consider getting married and having children as the highest
achievement in a person's life and other cultures think that a prominent professional career is the
key, I believe that a balance between the two is the key, sharing my professional achievements
reached with my family is one of my greatest pleasures.
