There is no response from BHEL-HWR
First time machine was rolled on 3000 RPM in Aug 2021 but a
vibratioon was found in pedestal no. 3 & 5 . after that , A VC was
held among BHEL-PSTS,HWR, SSBG for resolution of vibration
issue and it was decided to dismatle the IP & LP rotors for slow
speed balancing. Site complteled the assembly work after slow
speed balncing but again vibration problem persisted.
Further, ALL represenatatives (BHEL-PSTS, Haridwar, ex BHEL,
SSBG) checked the site work thoroughly and there was no
discrepencies found in site assembly work.
Again IP &LP rotors were sent to BHEL-HWR for tunnel balancing
and for other machining rectification work. Rotors recieved back
at site on 23.05.2022 and turbine assembly work completed in july
2022 .
Machine again synchronized on 23.07.2022 smoothly.
The dismantling and reassembly works done at site duye to
manufacturing fault of BHEL Hwr need to be adjusted. We have
written several emails to BHEL Hwr and SSBG for cost debit
acceptance of reworks done at site but no response is coming
from their's end.
Site had used 31 no's of balancing weight from customer on loan
basis on the instruction of BHEL-HWR during slow speed balncing
of rotors at site. Customer is demanding their balancing weights
but HWR still not responding for the same.Site is continuously
communicating with HWR and SSBG but there is no response from
either side.
The balancing weights sent by BHEL HWR were improper sized
and were not used at site. Site is trying to send unused coupling
bolts & balancing weights to BHEL-HWR but there is no response
from BHEL-HWR / SSBG side to take back the coupling bolts and
balancing weights.
 Vendor was not responding. New agency (m/S uNIQUE) has been
finalized for balance 40% works at risk & cost of M/s SCT and
90% work has been completed. Waiting for supply of 1 no. new CT
WIP
Fan blade (expected date of supply 25.10.2022) so that final
commissioning of CLCT & PG test and contract closing can be
done.

 Our scrap disposal division has to take suitable action as M/s
Navjeevan steel has refused to dispose the balance 15 MT ESP
electrodes.

Due to contractual ambuiguity UPRVUNL is not allowing to divert

the surplus materials of main R&M package from Obra site. We
have written several emails and discussed the issue with CGM
Obra and BHEL SSBG to give the permission for diversion of
surplus materials of R&M package, But customer is not allowing.
BHEL SSBG has to resolve the issue at the earliest.

M/s NIC has passed Rs. 41 lakhs only against insurance claim of Rs.
6 crores. We have written letters to M/s NIC but no positive
response is coming. We have written emails to our legal cell for
the further opinin on this case. We have also written letters to
UPRVUNL for giving consent for the settlement of insurance
claims.

8 nos. 3/8" Flexible hose is still not received at site from BHEL
HERP Varanasi. We are following up HERP Varanasi to resolve the
4 out of 6 MDV commissioned
issue. We have written emails to HERP Varanasi but material is not
yet supplied at site.

During the commissioning of Sox of Unit-12, some of materials

were found defective and cannibalized from the available
materials of unit-13. A email has been given to BHEL Edn on dtd
Erection completed.
29.07.2022 for replacement of defective materials with new
materials.We are following up the issue with EDN Bangalore.
Reply is still awaited.

Control Valve succesfully commissioned but CAR has been raised to BHEL PC Chennai to resolve the issue. CAR
unable to control pressure in desired No. CAR:22:PC:00019 dated 31.08.2022 . We are following up
operation range. with PC chennai. But no response is coming.
