To Whom It May Concern,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to formally explain my absence from the CAS orientation on
September 28, 2023. Unfortunately, on that day, my family and I were celebrating a significant
milestone – my grandfather's birthday.

As a close-knit family, we consider these moments precious and believe in the importance of cherishing
and celebrating our elders' milestones. Given the special occasion, I made the decision to prioritize my
family commitments and participate in the festivities surrounding my grandfather's birthday. I
understand the significance of the CAS orientation and the valuable information that was likely shared
during that session. I sincerely regret not being able to attend and acknowledge the importance of the
event in the academic and personal development journey.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration in this matter. I am eager to engage fully in the
upcoming CAS activities and contribute positively to the academic community.

Sincerely,

Marc Beaver Maputol
