Dear Ma’am/Sir,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to
express my sincere apologies for my absence from the ESC meeting scheduled
for September 22,2023. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend due to a sudden
illness that has left me in no condition to participate effectively.Over the past
few days, I have been battling a severe flu which has caused significant
discomfort and has also affected my ability to focus and contribute
meaningfully to our upcoming meeting. I understand the importance of this
meeting and deeply regret that I cannot be present as planned.

I assure you that my absence was not a decision made lightly. I believe in the
value of our team's collaboration and contributions, and I am committed to
making every effort to catch up on what was discussed during the
meeting.Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience my absence may cause
and appreciate your understanding in this matter. Please extend my apologies
to the rest of the team, and I look forward to resuming my active participation
in our projects and meetings as soon as possible.
