Job Overview:
As the Business Development Manager at Brett Communications Limited, you will be a key player in driving the agency's growth
and success. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships,
and expanding our client base. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans to meet
revenue targets and position the agency as a leader in the public relations industry. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and
motivated individual with a proven track record in business development within the PR or related industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients, industry trends, and market opportunities to develop targeted business development
strategies.
- Proactively reach out to prospects and lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing
deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored
PR solutions.
- Collaborate with the agency's PR and marketing teams to create compelling pitches and proposals that demonstrate the
agency's capabilities and value.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the agency and generate leads.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify unique selling points and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and regularly report on progress to the leadership team.
- Work closely with the account management team to ensure a smooth transition from business development to client
onboarding.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies to drive innovation and maintain a
competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in business development within the public relations industry or related fields.
- A track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth objectives.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle complex deals.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and goal-oriented mindset with a passion for driving results.
- Previous experience in the PR agency landscape or working with PR clients is a significant advantage.
