I have been studying English for 4 years.

I started studying English because it was a

requirement for my professional career and for some jobs, it is very important to speak and
write English to be able to send emails or attend conferences. I started when I was 21 and the
classes were face-to-face, I loved going to classes because it was a enriching experience and I
could practice with my classmates. However, when the pandemic started, face-to-face classes
were prohibited for all institutions. Learning could not stop, so after 6 months, the institutions
created virtual classes. Thay´s because I have taken classes in both modalities. Face-to-face
classes and virtual classes are totally different in their own way, but they are good options to
study English.

Face-to-face classes and virtual classes have different teaching methodologies, so they have
very different forms. The modalities of classes are very different. In virtual classes, you must
turn on your computer, enter the zoom link and that’s how the class begins. In contrast, in face-
to-face classes, you must go to a classroom. In addition, in virtual classes you receive a virtual
book but you cannot write in it so you have to take notes in word whereas in face-to-face
classes you receive a physical book and can do the exercises and take notes of the classes in the
book. Also face-to-face classes cost 30 soles more than virtual classes. All those differences
