b) A leveling network has been carried out from TBM (26.800 m) at UiTM Seri
Iskandar, Perak. Based on data in table 1, find the followings:

i) Reduced level for each point using Rise and Fall method.
ii)The arithmetical checking
iii) Loop misclosure and the allowable tolerance using 5√n formula.
iv) Accuracy of the leveling work and justify the result.

a) Using the following data in Table 3, calculate the corrections and adjusted reduced level
for all change points and other features. The loop misclosure is 0.605 m.

c) The distance between point A and B was measured as 5.2 m on the ground. Find
the distance on the map if the scale is:

i) 1:10
ii) 1:200
iii) 1:600

d) If the length of a river as displayed on a scaled plan is to be 9 cm and 32.3 m on the


ground, determine its fractional scale used in this plan. Then, based on the
calculated scale, find the distance on map if the 80.564 m of the ground.
