It is the act of being friendly and welcoming to guests or


visitors.

The word ‘hospitality’ comes from the Latin word


‘hospes’ meaning ‘guest’, ‘visitor’ or ‘stranger
Greeting the guest…
• I will greet a guest or visitor with warmest smile.
• When all staff are engaged in service activities, a guest is
acknowledged within 20 seconds.

name when known.
